As you might have already noticed, I am a big foodie! Hence, I do not miss an opportunity to try the local foods and specialities of the countries I'm visiting.
In last November, I've been to Prague in Czech Republic and I was looking for spots where I could enjoy a nice meal. I stumbled upon a really good blog :"Taste Of Prague" which gives great address and organizes food tours. After reading different posts, I chose to try "Nase Maso", a butchery // food joint.
It was honestly the best place where I ate in Prague. The place was crowded and people kept coming inside for a quick bite. Everything is fresh and home-made. I ordered one of the specials, a meatloaf and my boyfriend picked a hamburger with cheese. I prefered the hamburger but the meatloaf was also delicious. You can check the pics of what we ordered at the end of the post. Prices were really affordable, we paid 275 CZK (less than 11€) for both dishes.
What I really liked :
the taste, the food was really tasty and I'd advice anyone to try this place,
the affordable prices,
the atmosphere,
the location which is in the center of Prague.
What I didn't like :
it's a bit crowded, so you'll have to queue for a while,
you'll also have to wait for your food, and I had my order 5/10 minutes before my boyfriend's,
you'll have to eat standing and "fight" to be at a shared table..

I was in London last week and I planned to visit the "Cereal Killer Cake". Some friends told me about it before so I really wanted to try !
If you never heard about this place, the "Cereal Killer Cafe" is a place which mainly serves cereals but with a lot of different varieties from all around the world.
The place is a bit touristy, but some locals are also going there. They have two cafes in London, one in Brick Lane and one in Camden. I went to the one in Brick Lane and as it is less touristy, I think it's less crowded. I went there around 16:00 (I was starving) and luckily there was no one before me.
What I really like was the huge choice of cereals. As I am a cinnamon addict, I took what they call a cocktail (it's a mix of different cereals), here is what I choose : "don’t have a cinnamon" a mix of : curiously cinnamon, cinnamon toast crunch, applejacks, honey, and semi skimmed milk. If you are into cinnamon too, I can only suggest you to take the same than me. My only regret is that I took a medium size instead of a large one.
I think cereals are pretty boring in France, so it was awesome to be able to have so much choice!
I walked a lot that day and I thought I'd reach earlier so I didn't have breakfast nor lunch...
It was also a bit cold, so I ordered a Stacked Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate! Yummy! (Pics are at the end of the post, I even made a video!)
It was not that pricey. Of course it was not cheap, but it's London so I expect everything to be more expensive! I paid £3,80 for the cereals and I don't remember exactly but something around £5 for the hot drink.
What I really liked :
the huge choice of cereals,
the taste (honestly I didn't think it would be this good),
the atmosphere of the room upstairs,
the not so expensive prices,
the locations : Camden and Brick Lane are two really cool areas in London,
the design and decoration.
What I didn't like :
I didn't like the room downstairs at all, I found it pretty gloomy and a bit creepy... (it's the room with the beds that you can see on the pics), also, I am not sure it's really hygienic.
the fact that it's a bit touristy,
the menu is a bit useless. Not everything is on it, and you have two walls of menu too xD,
if you're going during the rush hour, you might have to queue for a long time.

You'll have to take the overground and stop at the "Shoreditch High Street" station. The closest underground station is "White Chapel" which is on "District Line" (the green one), and on "Hammersmith and City Line" (the pink one).
To go to Camden, you can get down at the "Camden Town" station, located on the "Northern Line" (the black one). Then you'll have to walk a bit till the Stables Market.
You can check out pics of what I ordered at the end of this post. I also made a short video, where you'll feel the vibe of the Cereal Killer Cafe. I hope you'll like it ! Let me know what you think about it, if you ever go!
